Seborga (セボルガ, Seboruga) is a minor character in the series Hetalia: Axis Powers.

Appearance

Seborga is a young teen who resembles both Veneziano and Romano; he has a hair curl, similar to theirs, and has a skin tone that falls between Veneziano's fair complexion and Romano's olive complexion. He is often depicted carrying around a tube.

Personality And Interests

Seborga is a womanizer, a quality he shares with his brothers though he seems to have more of a fixation on it than them. In his profile, he invites Italy to come and take a tour of his country any time, encouraging him to bring a pretty girl when he does. Upon hearing about Wy's declaration of independence, he hides in her garden to surprise her (apparently eating something with ketchup while waiting, though he gets it all over himself). After getting stuck in the tree, he ends up scaring Sealand and angering Wy, who demands to know what he is doing. Seborga is somewhat embarrassed at his less than suave entrance, but covers it up by remarking that he may show some romantic interest in Wy when she is older.

Though he declared his independence hundreds of years ago, he continued to live as a part of Italy; perhaps this is due to his passiveness.

After Wy declares her independence, Seborga goes to surprise her and introduce himself in her garden. However, he gets stuck in the tree where he was hiding and eventually upsets Wy. He later remarks that Wy is pretty, and he may make a pass at her once she is a bit older.

Trivia

• While Seborga has been in a few chibi sketches, in his only non-deformed appearance he is covered in ketchup and hanging on a tree; this makes his height and age difficult to gauge, though its generally agreed that he is shown to be a few years older than Sealand and Wy.
• The Principality of Seborga is unique among micro-nations because of its history as an independent entity before becoming part of Italy.
