This volume focuses on the characters Germany and Prussia, who are having trouble falling asleep and decide to count sheep for each other and the listener.

I Can at Least Do Some Big Brother Stuff for You Sometimes![]
Prussia comes back home from a trip to Italy as he sees that his brother is still working. Prussia yawns, and Germany tells him to go to sleep, so Prussia forces to go with him. Germany refuses due to still having work to do but Prussia insists that he should rest. He remembers seeing how Italy Romano was counting for Italy Veneziano, so he thinks that counting to Germany should do the trick.
I’ll Count for You, So Go to Sleep![]
Prussia forces Germany to lie down, the latter still protesting due to having work, but Prussia laughs it off and starts counting sheep energetically. He asks how his counting is, to which Germany says that he's wide awake due to Prussia counting too energetically. After counting up to 20, Prussia sneezes, claiming that he's bored. He then notices his bird on top of his head, so he thinks that counting chicks should be better. Prussia gets up to 30, and Germany says that he should get back to work. Prussia instead switches back to sheep and counts to 40. Germany refuses to sleep once again, but Prussia doesn't waver and counts up to 50. Germany didn't fall but instead feels well-rested.

Prussia gives up on counting for Germany, so he forces the latter to count for him.
Understood, I’ll Count Now...[]
Germany counts 10 sheep, as if they were soldiers. Prussia stops him and corrects his counting. Germany calmly counts up to 20 sheep. After some more correction, Germany counts 5 wurst, and then 5 bottles of beer, with the count hitting 30 objects. Prussia gets hungry due to such counting, but Germany doesn't let him go to get a snack. Germany switches back to sheep and counts to 40. He notices that Prussia isn't properly covered with the blanket, so he insists that Prussia gets under the blanket. After some meddling, Germany counts to 50, and Prussia falls asleep. Germany goes back to work.
Sleeping Habits also Require Regulation[]
The countries have a meeting dedicated to solving sleep issues. Germany tells Veneziano and Romano to stop bickering. After discussing siestas with Prussia, Germany states that proper sleeping habits are necessary for being healthy and productive. After Germany gives some tips on how to make a proper sleep schedule, Prussia offers to go and have something to eat. Germany says that it's wonderful idea due to it being beneficial for one's health, and Prussia is annoyed because of Germany being mentally stuck on the topic of the meeting.
