Hetalia x Goodnight with Sheep Vol. 1 - Sleeping During Siesta (ヘタリア×羊でおやすみシリーズvol.1「シエスタでおやすみ」 Hetaria × Hitsuji de Oyasumi Shiriizu vol.1 "Shiesuta de Oyasumi") is a drama CD created as part of a collaboration between Hetalia: Axis Powers and the Goodnight with Sheep series. This volume focuses on the characters Italy Veneziano and Italy Romano, who are having trouble falling asleep and decide to count sheep for each other and the listener.

I Can't Take My Siesta![]
Veneziano is crying in the garden because he can't fall asleep during his siesta, so he asks Romano for help. Romano doesn't get what's the problem at first, but once Veneziano tells him that he can't fall asleep, Romano doesn't believe him. Romano then takes him seriously and gives a lot of unhelpful advice out of spite. After that, Veneziano remembers a method that can help him fall asleep, which is counting sheep. Romano wonders where he'd gotten such knowledge from and then yells at Veneziano for hanging out with Japan and Germany, who were the ones who taught Veneziano the trick. Veneziano falls down on his knees and grabs onto Romano's leg, begging for help. Romano eventually agrees to count sheep for Veneziano.
I’m Counting Now, You Jerk![]
Romano counts ten sheep aggressively, which makes Veneziano think that the sheep trip right after jumping over the fence. Romano counts the next dozen of sheep less angrily, which makes Veneziano sleepy. The latter promises Romano two gelatos for this and then talks about how Germany counted for him, which angers Romano. After a bit of a back and forth about Germany and Japan, the two brothers stop bickering. Romano continues counting right until he hits 30. He yawns and asks Veneziano why it has to be sheep and not something else. Veneziano doesn't know. Romano takes a bit of a break and comes back, counting up to 40 sheep. Veneziano is happy that he can spend time like this with his brother. Romano is annoyed but counts until 50, after which Veneziano falls asleep.
Chigii! I Can't Sleep![]
Veneziano checks how's his brother doing. Romano can't seem to fall asleep and is very angry about it. He blames it on skipping his siesta due to counting sheep for Veneziano. Veneziano offers to count sheep for Romano, the latter very reluctantly agrees.
I’m Gonna Count Now~![]
Veneziano counts the first ten sheep and then asks how good his counting is. Romano says that it sucks but that he's going to let it slip by. The next 20 sheep go by, and Romano already feels sleepy. He denies it being due to Veneziano's counting. After counting to 30, Veneziano remembers something related to Germany, which pisses Romano off. The former apologizes and counts to 35, yawns and then counts to 40, almost falling asleep. Romano is actually almost asleep. Veneziano counts to 50 and falls asleep alongside his brother.
It’d Be Better If You Took Siestas~![]
The countries have a meeting dedicated to solving sleep issues. Veneziano suggests that everyone should have siestas, but Romano disagrees due to other countries having very different cultures and climates that aren't compatible with siestas. Veneziano asks Germany to try out siestas at his place to test Romano's theory, but Romano cuts him out and lashes out at him for mentioning Germany and doubting Romano's abilities.
