( =ヮ=)[]

The narrator introduces the W Academy, stating that it has been really peacefully recently. While some were sighing of relief, the newspaper club members were scratching their heads due to having nothing to write about. Germany is stressing about having Italy write whatever he wants in the upcoming issue due to promising to let him do so in case they won't have enough material for the month's issue. Japan offers to write an article about how Germany has won the school's unfunniest student competition, but the latter doesn't really want to stress how unfunny he is.

Italy throws the door open, apologizing for being late and explaining himself. He got distracted by a girl and then the sword of the statue that was near the school gate got stuck in his side, blood spurting everywhere. Germany and Japan are extremely worried about Italy, saying that they should rush him to the hospital, but Italy just yanks the sword out. Italy then switches the theme to the article he wrote for their newspaper, with Germany sighing of disappointment in himself. Italy reminds everyone about the sports festival that is going to be at the very end of the month, and Germany remembers how they decided not to write an article about it for the month's issue due to having almost no time to work on it and print the newspaper in time. Japan says that they should pull an all-nighter so they could push out the issue in time. All of them then agree to meet up at 5 AM so they could cover the entire event. Italy wants to skip the day of the festival, but Germany insists that every member of the club has to work on the article.

ミ-」-][]

The day of the festival has arrived. Germany wakes Italy up at 5 AM to the latter's distress. Everyone goes to the site where the festival should be held, Italy placing doubt in anyone being there. Japan remembers how before the last sports festival someone got overhyped about the event and overexerted themself to the point of being rushed to the hospital. Turns out, that person was Prussia, who this time has arrived early to the festival so he could train, lamenting being sent to the hospital last time. He took notice of the newspaper club members, greeting them. Germany insists that Prussia shouldn't be at school due to already having graduated, with Prussia denying it. Germany then choked Prussia for quite a bit until the latter confessed to fighting a bear before the last festival. The scene cuts to Greece, who was sitting with his cats, lamenting how his mother would disapprove of modern-day Olympics due to everyone not being naked. Italy and Japan approach him, asking his opinion about the festival, to which he says that his breakfast has been lacking lately. Italy and Greece then discuss how nice Germany is.

The time skips to when the principal has finished his speech, which took about 3 seconds. Japan then mentions how Gagarin kept talking about the color blue. While the three members are in deep thought, America approaches them and offers them to write an article all about him. Romano complains to Spain about the festival and the Olympics, stating that he doesn't want to participate because his brother will surely excel him and leave Romano depressed. France, Japan and Italy then discuss how great bikes are. England and France argue about sports. China is doing Taichi, while Canada tries to say something about ice hockey, but almost everyone fails to hear him. Russia offers to show Canada some moves that could help with exercising with Italy joining in, wanting to see the moves. Russia terrifies him by describing how agonizing the exercises are. Germany is surprised by everyone actually arriving, with Japan saying that it may be due to the gold medals being actually made of gold. The narrator closes off the track, hoping that Canada won't have any backlash after the festival.

W廿_廿)[]

Italy, France, America and Spain compete in the 100-meter dash. Japan is shooting the entire ordeal on his camera that can take 100 photos per second. The race starts with America using his rocket shoes to fly forward. Spain condemns America's poor sportsmanship, while the latter says that a bit of rule-breaking isn't a big deal. France and Italy are running far behind the other two. America's rocket shoes break, making him lose control. Spain tries to get out of America's way but the two of them collide, leaving an opening for the other two to win. Italy actually wins the race with France taking the second place. America and Spain got disqualified, but the photos of their crash are considered more frontpage-worthy by Japan rather than Italy's win.

([∂]ω[∂])[]

Everyone is preparing for the bread race. Italy takes a memorial photo before the race starts, while Romano is complaining about having to run and eat bread at the same time. The race starts with Germany taking the lead. Romano is cursing under his breath while running and threatening the committee members with the mafia. Russia calls some kind of spirit to help him due to the race being a bit unfair. The bread falls to the ground and starts oozing some kind of liquid. Everyone calls Russia out on cheating and getting the bread covered in dirt. In the end, Russia has won the race, with Germany taking the second place, China taking the third place and Romano finishing last.

(言ω言)[]

The next event is a sort of a scavenger hunt. The participants receive a slip with the item they have to get from somewhere or someone. Greece suddenly goes on to ask philosophical questions, making Italy's head hurt. The race starts with everyone hoping they'll get an easy-to-find item. England has to find a boulder but is out of luck due to there being no boulders around. He then runs up to Germany, saying that his head is as heavy as a boulder, but Germany refuses to move, saying that if he wants to, England could just drag him to the finish-line. Japan has to find a useless item, so he picks Italy, who thinks that the slip says something else. Prussia has to take the best man in the world, so he runs to the finish-line all by himself. Greece has finished first, Canada was second. Prussia arrives third, but gets disqualified for not bringing anything, so that makes Japan the third place. Everyone starts arguing about Greece's choice. His word was "desk", but he has brought a cat, claiming that it's a desk. Greece says that a cat is also a desk due to having 4 legs and a surface on top. Japan reveals that he had to bring a useless item, which causes Italy to guilt-trip Japan. England gets disqualified for running out of time while trying to move Germany from his spot.

ζリ*´点`)[]

The last event is a centipede race. America complains due to being unable to be a hero while working in a team. He and Japan then talk about superheroes with England butting in, saying that no one cares about America's superheroes. France offers to discuss anime, England mentioning the former's weird obsession with Japanese culture. Everyone then gets ready for the race. Japan is on photo duty, so he's not participating. The race starts with Germany's team lagging behind due to Italy's poor pace. The latter complains, distracting Germany so much so that the entire group falls over. America's team started without Canada, so they had to redo the lap. Germany's team eventually got up and overtook the other team, reaching the checkpoint. The other team then starts running much faster, closing the distance between the teams. Germany's team also speeds up. The two teams are running side-by-side, reaching the finish-line at the exact same moment, Japan proving the improbable tie with his video footage. Italy tries to run off, but the other two stop him before he could do so.

( ^ J ^)[]

The newspaper club's members have finished writing the article. The only thing left to do is to choose the photo for the front page. Germany and Italy bicker a bit over the centipede race photos, Japan particularly liking the photo with America. Germany then mentions the photo from the bread race, but everyone decides against it due to the strange fog behind Russia. Italy is scared for his soul due to being the one who took the photo. They eventually stop at the photo with Japan and Italy from the scavenger hunt because the two of them had nice expressions, which they explained by Germany being the one who took the photo. Japan said that he'd make copies of the photo for everyone in the club. Their article turned out to be so good that the photos from it were plastered all over the school's website.
