The fifty-first episode of Hetalia: Axis Powers was broadcast on March 1st, 2010. It adapts America's Situation With Ghosts, as well as two strips from Hello World! Hello Italy.

Plot Summary

Hello World! Hello Italy!

This episode opens with Germany walking into Italy's room proclaiming (read: shouting) that he is going to be late for the morning drill only to find that Italy is sleeping (faking it, rather). Germany walks over and kneels beside Italy's bed and offers to tell him about a kudo trick he learned in Japan which results in Italy shooting up out of bed proclaiming "I'm up! I'm up!".

In the next segment Germany is once again seen storming into Italy's room shouting "Italy! Oversleeping again!?". Italy is then shown lying in bed on his side with his back turned to Germany. He rolls over onto his back only for Germany to discover that he has caught a cold. Germany places his hand on Italy's head saying "Don't catch a cold" which prompts a sneeze from the heavily breathing Italy.

America's Situation With Ghosts

The scene then switches to America slamming open a door (Tony randomly sliding in next to him) and asking Japan to watch a movie with him (a horror film albeit). Japan questions America if it's another horror film prompting America to exclaim "Yeah! I'm too scared to watch it alone!".

Then we see America walking into a dark room and grabbing a pilow off of a couch (which Japan is already seated on) and sitting down with it tellin Japan that it's good he's there so now the "scariness will be divided among the two of us". Japan questions America on wether or not hehad considered not watching the movie at all and Amrica responds by arguing that he is a hero and goes to start the movie relutantly after that in a rather frieghtened manner causing Japan to ponder to himself the fact that it's "not everyday you see America shaking in his boots like this" and that the movie must be pretty "hardcore".

The movie starts off with a white haired man in a cloak serving as the host for the video and welcomes the people watching. Japan watches the film intently while America is muttering to himself obviously already scared by the film. A picture of a man in a cowboy hat is then shown on screen and the host asks what doesn't belong in the picture (ooo terrifying). The host then says that the man in the picture is what doesn't belong followed by cheering being heard. This causes Japan to chuckle but as he begins to say something America cuts him off by screaming "It's a picture of a ghost! Scary! So scary!", he the proceeds to scream in a spastic manner before latching onto Japan exclaiming how scared he is (I should make note here that America's whale can be seen poking it's head out from behind the couch at this point).

Japan attempts to calm America by telling him to take a deep breath and look at the picture more closely to which America argues that takng a deep breath won't do anything. Once again Japan encourages America to look at the picture (it's not the same one with the cowboy, it's different. In this picture we see a man standing there with the sillouhette of another man's face behind him which serves as the ghost). Japan asks for America to look near the ghost and that if you keep looking at him then you'll start feeling sorry for him which prompts America to scream "Is there something wrong with you?!"

The next scene is of America wiping hs eyes and commenting on how the film was so scary that he neay wet himself wich causes Japan to ponder why America watched the film in the first place. America then goe on to say that he made it through the whole thing which causes a worn-out looking Japan to think to himself that America didn't have to watch it at all.

America begins to ask Japan of another favor (which is clearly for him to watch another horror film with him). Japan rejects America's request telling him that he is going to have a hard life if he keeps watching things that scare him and therefore Japan gives him some "survival horror games" to help him out. America thanks Japan sayig that he'd probably be able to handle the scariness if it's in video game form. America then begins to ask Japan for another favor but Japan runs off before he can get it out.

The next day Japan is seen entering Amerca's room asking him how he liked the games (meanwhile creepy music is playing in the background). America is then seen sitting completely still in his chair and Japan comments that he refuses to believe that America froze up in his chair from how horrifying the games were.

America then turns around in his chair slowly and once his face is in clear view America is seen with a purple colored face with blood (it's most likely fake) dripping down from his eyes and from his mouth. He proceeds to call out to Japan in a menacing voice only for Japan to scream out in frieght.

America laughs at Japan and walks towards him asking him why he was running away and if he "was really that scary". Japan tells America "Yes you are. I don't know what you're up to, but stop it" to which America responds by saying that the games were really fun and that the monster in the game was cute. Japan questions America "Huh? Cute?". America responds by patting Japan on the back saying "Yeah! Huh? Don't tell me you're afraid of it. You're such a weird guy" and laughing. Japan realizes that he'll never be able to tell what America considered to be frightening..

"Japan sighed deeply, knowing that he'd never be able to understand what America thought was frightening"
