The forty-ninth episode of Hetalia: Axis Powers was broadcast on December 25th, 2009. It adapts some of Japan And The Footsteps Of Westernization, along with another strip of Fly, Canada-san, Fly!.

Plot Summary

This episode follows the process of Japan's westernization. It begins with France visiting Japan. Japan is reluctant to meet France at first, and is only coaxed out of his room by the promise of a cute kitten to play with.
