It adapts the entirety of the Canada and His Neighbors chapter from Hetalia: Axis Powers Volume 6 as well as a strip from the Fly Canada-san, Fly! chapter from Hetalia: Axis Powers Volume 2.

Summary[]

A look into Canada's youth and his relationship with those around him.

Plot Summary[]

Canada introduces himself to the audience and how he is typically mistaken for America even though their personalities are very different. He then introduces Kumajiro and how they each often do not get each other's name right.

Canada reflects how his neighbor, America, is rather noisy but that his own house is peaceful and quiet. America enters from his room and the brothers greet one another. After Canada retrieves a beverage for him, America asks if Canada is overdoing his decorating with maple items but Canada states that he enjoys maple related things.

During his youth, Britian and France were fighting for control of Canada. France tells the young Canada that he will defeat England and become his new big brother. While Canada sees nothing wrong with this, he questions how they can stay safe during the process. France admits that there is no guarantee they will be safe, but he does vow to do whatever it takes to win. Unfortunately for him, Britian sneaks up behind him and his men while they debate fashion and wins the right to be Canada's brother.

Adult Canada wonders why people say he is not very memorable and recalls back to when Britian first introduced him to America. When the brother's first meet, Canada is amazed at how much they look alike but America loses interest fairly quickly and moves on to asking food from Britian. A short while later, the young Canada tells Kumajiro how he was hoping to have lunch with Britian but doesn't want to disturb him from his work. Kumajiro states that this is actually the perfect chance for Canada to be more assertive. Just as Canada steps forward and mentions it's lunch time, America rushes in and loudly asks for lunch from the annoyed Britian.

In the present, Kumajiro tells Canada that Mexico is looking for ideas to put on the internet for a welcoming image. Kumajiro states that he suggested Mexico put Canada on their page since Canada is seen as a symbol of happiness.
