The eleventh episode of Hetalia: The World Twinkle (one hundred thirty-first overall) was aired on September 10, 2015. It adapts the comic Davie from the original webcomic.
Young America sits in a grassy field with his rabbit. A boy approaches him, and introduces himself as Davie to America, who is delighted to have a new friend. Davie shows America his house and invites him inside. Finding a botany book, Davie points out a rare blue flower to his new friend and tells America that this flower isn't found in the New World. At nightfall, America waves goodbye to Davie, promising to find him the blue flowers he talked about. From his faintly lit porch, Davie waves goodbye as well.
Once again in the fields, America searches for the blue flowers but cannot find them. Walking into town, he calls for Davie, who has grown into a man. Davie is talking with someone else when America approaches and appears embarrassed when he sees the still-small America. Turning his back, he and his friend walk away, distressing America. Dismayed, he decides he must find those flowers, since Davie seems disappointed in him.
America finds England, who explains that the blue flowers aren't found in North America, but they are in Europe. Seeing America so disappointed, England promises to bring him some flowers when he goes back home.
Happily, America skips back into town and finds Davie, now middle-aged, reading a book to a small girl. Unlike the last time they met, Davie is happy to see his small friend again, but says that he now has a wife and children of his own. Dejectedly, America trudges back home and sulks. England appears in the doorway, bearing the flowers he promised to bring.
Happy again, America runs back to Davie's house, carrying the flowers. Coming over a hill, he sees a boy who looks just like Davie. America presents the flowers to the boy joyfully. Taking the flowers, the boy throws the bouquet into a coffin—Davie's coffin. Picking a flower out of the bundle, America says Davie's name, while the boy somberly looks on.
The flower shown in the episode is the Blue Daisy. It is suspected that some liberties may have been taken in regards to the timeline of when England may have had access to this flower, as it hadn't been formally introduced to Europe until the mid to late-18th century. However, in the Animator's Notes for the episode, this flower was confirmed to be a blue daisy (ブルーデイジー).
